Simone is a talented texture artist who creatively reuses textiles through a wide range of techniques, including eco dyeing, weaving, embroidery, and innovative FeltLOOM work. Her work is deeply rooted in sustainability and the world around us, and each piece tells a unique story through layers of reclaimed fabric.
Throughout her residency, Simone will be working onsite at The Fabric ReStore, and the public is warmly invited to pop in, view her process, and learn more about her methods and materials. This is a rare opportunity to connect with a working artist and explore how textile waste can be transformed into art.
Visitors will also have the chance to purchase original Simone Kottmann pieces — each one thoughtfully handmade and entirely unique.
Join us in celebrating art, sustainability, and community creativity.
