Get ready to dive into the world of creative fashion with our Upcycled Sweater Workshop where you will turn an old sweater into a reimaged, one-off piece”! This class is perfect for those creative thrifters who enjoy embracing their own unique style.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll discover how to take a sweater that might be brand new, stained or have a terrible print on it and rework it into a personalised wearable art piece. We’ll guide you through the process of designing, cutting, assembling, and finishing your upcycled garment.
Join us for an afternoon of fun, creativity, and sustainable fashion. By the end of the class, you’ll leave with a fabulous, reworked sweater that’s as unique as you are!
Participants are expected to have prior experience using a sewing machine and ideally should have attended any of our past sewing classes. You should be comfortable controlling the fabric and sewing machine and able to sew with a consistent seam allowance.
