Want to learn to sew but don’t know where to start? Our Learn to Sew Thursday Morning class is perfect for beginners looking for friendly, hands-on guidance.

Held in the heart of The Fabric ReStore, this small group session (1–2 people) offers a supportive environment where you'll learn the basics from our passionate sewing team. Expect encouragement not just from us, but from our wonderful community—customers often stop by to cheer you on and share their own tips and tricks.

Because no two sewers sew the same, there's always something new to learn and ways to make it your own.

What to bring?

You don’t need to bring a thing unless you prefer to learn on your machine. We provide all necessary supplies but feel free to bring your own labeled items if you prefer. We also invite you to bring along any ideas or patterns you’d like to explore together.

We supply reclaimed fabrics and trims for projects where possible. You will only be asked to supply materials if we don’t stock required items but you’re also welcome to bring your preferred fabrics & patterns.

How much?

1 Person: $90 2hr session
2 People: $150 2hr session

Cancellation & No Show Policy

All classes are limited to a certain number of participants.  You need to give us notice if you wish to cancel.

We must receive a minimum of 1 WEEKS’ NOTICE of any calculations. Failure to do this means that your fee has been forfeited.

Last-minute cancellations will also be considered as No Shows
