Alteration Support Workshop – Bring Your Clothes, Get Expert Advice!

Got clothes that don’t fit quite right? Want to add pockets, adjust hems, or tweak a garment to better suit your style? Our Alteration Support Workshop is here to help!

What to Expect:
🔹 Bring up to three garments needing alterations
🔹 Get expert advice on how to adjust, mend, or modify them
🔹 Learn techniques for adding pockets, taking in or letting out seams, shortening hems, and more
🔹 Work at your own pace with guidance and support

Rhis workshop will give you the confidence and skills to alter your clothes in a way that fits you perfectly.

👉 Bring your own garments and let’s make them work for you! Sewing machines and basic tools are provided, or you can bring your own.

🎉 Bonus! After the class, you’re welcome to stay for our Stitch & Social session at no extra cost and layer up your felted artwork with stitching detail.

Skill Level

Ideal for sewists with basic sewing skills who can confidently operate a sewing machine for simple projects. If you’re drawn to the workshop but lack sewing machine skills, please attend one of our sewing classes or our Stitch Basics Class before the class.

This workshop welcomes individuals of all genders, including men, teens, and non-binary individuals.

Cancellation & No Show Policy

All Creative Community Space classes are limited to a certain number of participants.  You need to give us notice if you wish to cancel. We must receive a minimum of 1 WEEKS’ NOTICE of any calculations. Failure to do this means that your fee has been forfeited. Last-minute cancellations will also be considered as No Shows
