Tired of your favourite skirts or dresses not having pockets? Or maybe you have a few pieces you love but wish they were more functional? Join our Learn to Sew Pockets into a Skirt Class and give your wardrobe the upgrade it deserves!
Let’s face it—pockets are a must-have! They add practicality and convenience while making your clothes even more wearable. In this fun and hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to seamlessly add invisible in-seam pockets to your garments. You can work on multiple pieces or explore other pocket styles that interest you.
Don’t have a garment ready? No worries! We provide fabric for practice so you can perfect your technique before diving into your own wardrobe.
🎉 Bonus! After the class, you’re welcome to stay for our Stitch & Social session at no extra cost—keep sewing your pockets or start a new project in a relaxed and supportive space.
Your garments which lack pockets. We’ll provide all necessary sewing equipment, including sewing machines, threads, irons, scissors, pins, needles, and fabrics. Feel free to bring your own sewing machine and sewing kit if you prefer.
Ideal for sewists with basic sewing skills who can confidently operate a sewing machine for simple projects. If you’re drawn to the workshop but lack sewing machine skills, please attend one of our sewing classes or our Stitch Basics Class before the class.
